Getting Subsidised Dental Treatments for the family with your Baby Bonus

In line with the government’s efforts to lighten the financial costs of raising children, all 7 branches of Greenlife Dental Clinic (except Willing Hearts) are now an accredited medical institution under the Baby Bonus Scheme.

How much subsidy can you get for your dental treatments?

Find out the maximum amount you can subsidised for the following dental treatments with your cards.

Aside from the first step grant deposit by the government, subsequent savings deposited will be co-matched by the government, up to a cap amount. While funds in your child’s Child Development Account (CDA) cannot be withdrawn as cash, you can use them to pay for any dental treatment expenses for them or their siblings. All you need to do is to ensure that the card transaction limit is above the treatment costs and that you have adequate funds for the deduction.

Why dental check-ups are important for your child?

  • Early prevention of tooth decay and promote good oral hygiene habits from an early age.
  • Healthy development of teeth and jaw movements.
  • Instill good oral hygiene habits in children from a young age.

Maintaining your child’s dental health at its best requires taking them for routine examinations. Parents may make sure that their child receives the necessary dental and gum care. FAQs

How do I qualify and apply for Baby Bonus?

The Baby Bonus Scheme is a scheme that is started by our Singapore government to help Singaporeans manage the costs of raising a child. It comprises the Baby Bonus Cash Gift (BBCG) and a Child Development Account (CDA) – a special co-savings scheme for your child. The CDA has two components –  the First Step Grant, and Government co-matching of parents’ savings. The Baby Bonus Scheme has been enhanced for eligible children born on or after 14 February 2023.

Baby Bonus Cash Gift
The Government has increased the BBCG by $3,000 for children in all birth orders, and adjusted the payout schedule to provide financial support on a regular basis, once every six months till the child turns six-and-a-half years. This way, parents can receive sustained support all the way till their child enters primary school.

Your child is eligible for the Baby Bonus Cash Gift if:

  1. He or she is a Singapore Citizen; and
  2. You are lawfully married to your spouse.

Can I use my friend’s Baby Bonus for subsidy?

No. The Baby Bonus Cash Gift is non-transferable.

How do I use my Baby Bonus for dental treatments?

Let our receptionist know that you would like to utilize your child’s baby bonus card for payment during registration.
If used for siblings’ treatment, your NRIC may be needed for verification for the first visit.
Subsequently, bring along your child’s baby bonus card during every visit for payment.
