DR

Michelle Toh

Dr Michelle Toh graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. During her government bond, she enjoyed the diversity of being able to explore different aspects of dentistry from the varied postings. She gained experience from doing general dentistry while working at Queenstown and Toa Payoh Polyclinics. Her postings at the Health Promotion Board and School Dental Service allowed her to treat children and also those with special needs in schools like MINDS and Tanglin School.

Her attachment to the National Dental Centre and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital exposed her to dental patients with complex medical conditions. She was also posted to Institute of Mental Health (IMH) as part of her training. With so many different postings and exposure helped her to hone her skill in managing and caring for patients’ dental needs of all age groups.

Dr Toh’s ability to make each dental visit a pleasant, enjoyable and fruitful experience stamp from her communication skill that builds a rapport quickly with any patients in English, Mandarin and multiple common dialects. She is also patient , empathetic and gentle too.

Dentistry beyond the clinics

Dr Michelle Toh’s care for the patients does not stop at the clinic, it goes beyond the clinic to places like Cambodia to help the people there where she experienced first-hand the pain and suffering of many people due to lack of access to good dental care due to financial or geographical limitations.
